The platform enables users to access JPM's liquidity and enables users to access JPM's services, raise money, and provide financial advice.

the project

nature of the work

The nature of this work is confidential. I won't be able to share any project details or processes. However I can provide brief descriptions of the work I have done.

As part of the design team on Execute, I worked on two main line of businesses FX and Rates...

my role

senior ux designer

I lead and contributed as a senior UX designer on Execute. That means I was a subject matter expert for major asset classes FX & Rates within the Execute platform & business.

I started and developed a new feature that would help client workflows become as frictionless as possible. From initial research, to user testing, and leveraging usage metrics from CX data to determine the new product within the platform.

Followed up with wireframes and final designs which lead to development and presenting results to the team.

Other work included enhancing existing features which lead to retaining existing clients and steady FX activity — maintaining constant revenue per month while I was there.

Achievements

lessons & takeaways

Rather than discuss the nature of the platform I helped contribute to. I believe a better conversation to have is the achievements and lessons from working with DXD (Digital Experience Design): a design team for the biggest investment bank. This diverse team of qualitative and quantitative researchers, strategists, service, and other product designers was invaluable to be part of. It broadened my own horizon and skill set — allowing me to learn new business domains within the company. I saw firsthand how an award-winning team could come together to utilise different strengths and design processes to solve complex design problems. Working with the team was an achievement in itself and I still keep in contact with my mentors and fellow designers. References available upon request.
